Reconstructing Natalie by Laura Jensen Walker

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'm reading "Reconstructing Natalie" by Laura Jensen Walker.

What are you reading?

Author Savannah Rose

  1. I'm reading books about health and whole foods. Pretty much my most favorite topic, EVAR!

    1. Ironically, my husband and I have been reading up on some healthier choices for breakfast and lunch. Because we work together (actually on different campuses but just across the road from each other) we most always take our lunches together (for almost 10 years now). And now that we live closer to work, we just go home for lunch. I just need to be more organized when it comes to buying groceries and prepping on the weekends. With thyroid disease AND IBS-D, it's sort of tricky for me. I can't have leafy veggies, or raw veggies, or raw fruit. But need bread to help with digestion. I have a book, "Eating for IBS" that I usually go back to whenever the IBS is at it's worse. But those types of foods are not good for me because I am hypo with the thyroid stuff. Still working on finding a balance. Enjoy your reading.

    2. And that's it too. Having more than one autoimmune issue can make meal times tricky. Glad you found a good book to help. That's wonderful.
